Man Vs Bee landed on Netflix worldwide in June 2022 - and quickly earned a spot in Netflix's UK top 3 - and US top 10.

Rowan Atkinson plays his first new comedy lead character for over a decade: hapless housesitter, Trevor Bingley, battling a bee in a lavish mansion across 9 episodes. 

Variety magazine talked to David about working with Rowan - and the challenge of creating his CG co-star.

Directors UK took a deep dive with David into the process of making the hit show.

Described as "a better Bean" in a 4 star review in The Independent, the show garnered another 4 star review in The Guardian and was hailed by The Big Issue as "a comedy masterpiece." According to The Daily Telegraph, "The set pieces are almost too perfect...Don't be surprised if it becomes an enormous international hit."
